RECESSION IS HERE BUT DO NOT GIVE UP

“for the shining soul who does not give up , the path is already there” - Ptah-Hotep

A  lot of people who had thought that they were set in their careers for life and would be in a position to retire at the age of 50, have had their dreams shattered by the banking crisis. These people find themselves in unchartered waters, finding ways to make ends meet.  This is the time when you have to look inside yourself and find the strength to go on, one step at a time.  Find the inspiration from family and friends.  Easier said than done, but believe me every hurricane comes, changes the landscape, but in the end calm returns; that is the way of nature,  and who are we but creatures of nature. Read on….

* 1816 – he had to work to support his family after they were thrown out of their home.
* 1818 – his mother died.
* 1831 – a business he had worked hard to build failed.
* 1832 – he stood for local office election and lost.

* 1843 – defeated again
* 1846 – defeated again

* 1854 – lost election for senate

For 44 years this man tasted nothing but defeat, YET he did not give up – had he given up, America would be a different country today, for it was he who changed the course of the country: yes this was ABRAHAM LINCOLN.

I am sure that there were many times when NELSON MANDELA  wished he could just give up, but he dug deep into his own strength and came out on top. Look at history and you find thousands of people who by all accounts were ‘finished’  but not only did they survive, they came up on top.

So to all the people who may have lost your livelyhood, please keep the hope going and you will come out on top. Things may get tougher before they get better, but keep this in mind that things WILL get better. No matter how bad things get, DO take care of your health as that is the most important asset you have.

For those who have survived these types of crisis and would like to post advice/guidance,  please do so, we would appreciate this.
